She met with us before hand and talked us through the day, helping us work out details we had not yet thought to consider. She knew exactly what we wanted, what our priorities were, and how much time we had for each element of the day. She was extraordinary with time management, getting all our family photos done before 4:00 pm (as scheduled) despite us being the cause of starting late.
She was somehow everywhere and yet completely unobtrusive, and produced stunning photos. The first "preview" photos she sent us immediately after the wedding day consistently induce tears! All her photos have received high compliments from anyone who has seen them. We cannot recommend her enough."

"I was so thrilled with Marielle. She was my first choice photographer -- I love how she had a great mix of beautiful formal shots but also lovely candids. Her work is artistic and natural. Our first meeting she was so lovely and I knew we had the perfect photographer! We worked together to create a timeline for the day and Marielle was so responsive (I emailed her ... a lot) and totally assuaged any fears I had of getting ALL the pictures of my huge family in. We worked together on a timeline and she even helped me nail a time down with the hair/makeup people so that we'd stay on track for the day. She was so kind, great with kids (I had some feisty flower girls), and made everyone feel happy and comfortable ALL day. Her assistant Nate was great too. I was nervous about having two photographers because I really didn't want it to feel like a film shoot and it NEVER did. They were so respectful (while getting some awesome shots) during the ceremony. She emailed me 80 of her favorite pictures THE NEXT DAY! Who DOES that?? I can't wait to get the rest of the photos and I'd highly recommend Marielle to ANYONE."

During the wedding, she took great casual shots and posed shots of us and our guests and added many playful touches, capturing the decor and spirit of the wedding. Marielle is both fun & professional, efficient & relaxing to work with. She arrived promptly, but traffic made ME arrive so late that there was only about 45 minutes of good lighting before dark. Miraculously, in that short time, Marielle took hundreds of stunning photos that captured a variety of vistas, perspectives, staging and emotions. We got our engagement photos back in a very timely fashion and we were thrilled! My friends have hired Marielle for various services and everyone has been equally thrilled.
