Jen + Lawrence's Wedding

Who: Jen and Lawrence

What: an intimate winter wedding in Tribeca

Where: China Blue

I went to middle school and high school in Delaware with Jen and was thrilled to capture her and Lawrence’s beautiful and intimate wedding in Tribeca. They got ready at the Tribeca Hilton, then we went to the Hudson River Greenway for portraits of the couple and bridal party by the water. From there, the ceremony, tea ceremony and reception were held at China Blue restaurant. It was great seeing so many familiar faces from my hometown as guests and to celebrate this wonderful couple! Congratulations!

What: Fall family portraits

Where: Liberty State Park and family’s home in Jersey City

I first met this family when I photographed their daugher’s first birthday and was happy to capture these fall family portraits about a year later. What a gorgeous fall afternoon and family! This toddler was all about giggling, moving and grooving and had such an infectious smile! We started out in Libery Park to enjoy the beautiful fall colors and finished up with some fun jumping on the bed shots at their home.

What: Couples Anniversary Portraiture

Where: Liberty State Park and Downtown Jersey City

This couple didn’t get engagement photos taken when they were planning their wedding so instead asked me to photograph an anniversary session for them in Jersey City, where they live. We started out capturing some gorgeous golden hour light and beautiful fall colors at Liberty State Park . We ended the session in downtown Jersey City, taking advantage of all the cool street art and murals for fun pops of color in the background. What a fun afternoon!

I love the historic beauty of the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture - it is such a unique venue perfectly located right across the street from Prospect Park. This couple’s summer wedding was a delight to capture. Congrats!

Christine + Rob's Wedding

Who: Christine and Rob

What: a highly theatrical NYC wedding

Where: Signature Theatre

The first job I ever had in New York City was for a non-profit theater company, so I am totally over the moon whenever I get to combine my two passions: theater and wedding photography! Christine got ready backstage in the theater’s dressing room and rehearsal studio. I loved incorporating the unique environment into her prep photos! The main stage was beautifully designed for their ceremony in true Midsummer Night’s Dream fashion. All the readings and speeches were heartfelt and hilarious. Congrats to this fun and theatrical couple!

What: Family portraits

Where: Family’s home in CT

I’ve known this family since 2009 and have photographed many happy occasions for them over the years (including both bat mitzvahs for their daughters). I went up to their country house for a fun summer outdoor portrait session and the whole family looked radiant!

Shu + Anthony's Wedding

Who: Shu and Anthony

What: a winter wedding in Battery Park City, NYC

Where: Battery Gardens

Shu and Anthony’s March wedding at Battery Gardens in lower Manhattan was absolutely beautiful! Shu got ready at Double Tree Financial District, then we met up at the pier for the couple’s first look and bridal party portraits. Anthony was a good sport even when a seagull on the pier got a little too close for comfort! The ceremony was held inside the venue and the couple was bathed in perfect late afternoon light. Congrats!
