photographer inspiration: Appuru Pai

Time warp time! I've seen the work of  Japanese photographer Appuru Pai pop up on several blogs over the last week - and for good reason. Her series of long-exposure photographs taken on the Yurikamome train line are stunning and oh-so-futuristic. I've long been a fan of photographs that incorporate motion blur and have my own series of photos taken from moving vehicles. What I like about these is that the camera is stationary so the motion lines are very clear and clean, easily directing the eye along the twists and curves of the train tracks.
